Ethan’s Quinoa Satay


With the introduction of Weird Vegan Kids YouTube video recipes… Ethan was desperate to do his FAVORITE recipe first!

Here are the ingredients and the method for those who like things written down! The link to the video recipe is at the bottom!


200g Quinoa
1 head of Broccoli
3 heaped TBSP of Peanut Butter
2 cloves of Garlic
2tsp Sesame Seeds
2tsp Turmeric
2tsp Black Pepper
200ml Plant Milk
1 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar
2-3 TBSP low sodium Soy Sauce
100-150g Black eyed Beans

This is one of the easiest recipes EVER!

First, boil the broccoli and quinoa until the broccoli is tender and the quinoa has unravelled. Drain and set aside.

In a non stick pan over a medium heat, add the peanut butter, no need for oil, chuck in the garlic, turmeric, sesame seeds, black pepper and plant milk. Keep stirring until it becomes a thick sauce. Turn the heat down and add the apple cider vinegar, soy sauce and beans. (Add some chilli flakes if you’re a maverick) Stir and heat it through for a few minutes then add the quinoa and broccoli. Mix it all up and shove it in your gob! Nom!
